Strathpeffer Pavilion was commissioned in 1881 by the 1st Countess of Cromartie
as part of the creation of Strathpeffer as a Victorian Spa Village. Visitors, including
royalty and members of high society.
During the first World War, the pavilion was used as a hospital for US Navy sailors, and buildings in the village were again requisitioned by the military during World War II.
In the 1960's the Pavilion had a new lease of life as an events hall and concert venue. The Pavilion set the stage for gigs by the Bay City Rollers, the Fortunes, Nashville Teens and Brian Poole and the Tremeloes.
During the 1970's the building fell into disrepair, and remained this way until 2004 when it was refurbished. It's current custodians the Strathpeffer Pavilion Community Trust took ownership in 2020.
Over the years there has been several reports of ghostly activity taking place, leading to Highland Paranormal being called in 2020 to investigate these reports. Now you have the chance to join us on our latest quest to connect with the spirits of the pavilion.
